Why We Love Them | Era & Relevance

The Nika is one of those Tom Ford designs that immediately reads as Tom Ford without relying on an oversized logo.

The exaggerated upswept cat-eye silhouette, rich Dark Havana acetate, and integrated metal T hardware give it a glamorous mid-2010s look that has aged extremely well. The warm gradient lenses soften the architecture of the frame and keep the overall appearance sophisticated rather than severe.

This model is now discontinued, and surviving examples are much more commonly found worn. An unworn, all-original example with the Tom Ford case is considerably more desirable.

I would describe this as 2010s vintage / discontinued Tom Ford, not as older heritage vintage.
