Condition

Collectors Condition. Previously worn and exceptionally well-preserved, with light surface marks and fine scratches visible under close inspection.

Age-related oxidation is present around the hinges, as shown in the detailed photographs. The frame retains a glossy exterior and its distinctive identifying markings. Please review all images for the condition of this individual pair.

Frame Details

Vintage Tart Optical Arnel in translucent Smoke Gray, featuring the model’s characteristic rounded rectangular lens openings, sculpted keyhole bridge, and pronounced upper corners.

Diamond-shaped metal rivets accent the front and temples. The translucent material reveals the embedded temple reinforcement, while substantial riveted hinges complete the period construction.

The interior retains the OTE shield, 48–24 size markings, and a temple-length marking that appears to read 6¼.
