Why We Love Them | Era & Relevance

The 959 was hand-drawn as an eyewear interpretation of the legendary German-built Porsche 959—an automobile celebrated for its advanced engineering, all-wheel-drive performance and pursuit of the 200-mph barrier.

T HENRI translated that inspiration through thick sculpted acetate, mechanical piston-style core wires, seven-barrel hinges and automotive-influenced metal and enamel detailing.

The Deep Blue edition was produced in a single serialized microproduction of only 149 pieces. It is sold out through T HENRI and originally retailed for $900. 

Authentication

Authenticated and graded by Second Chance Authenticators.

The frame’s model, Deep Blue coloration, Japanese construction, serialized designation, hardware, lenses and accompanying materials have been reviewed for consistency with authentic T HENRI production.

The serial is recorded, and the purchaser receives a Second Chance Authenticators Certificate of Authenticity with QR-linked ownership registration.
