Why We Love Them | Era & Relevance

This is a great example of modern Persol craftsmanship with a distinctly vintage-inspired feminine profile.

The Caffè acetate is especially attractive because it is more dimensional than standard Havana: deep espresso brown, amber and honey tones move through the frame depending on the light. Combined with the brown factory lenses, it gives the entire piece a warm monochromatic look.

The exaggerated yet wearable cat-eye profile also makes this very different from the classic masculine Persol 649/714 family.

Most importantly, this example is unworn, entirely original and discontinued—exactly the combination we want for a collectible modern Persol.
