The Lupine belongs to the sixth edition of Jacques Marie Mage's Yellowstone Collection, a continuing series inspired by the landscapes, wildlife and cultural heritage of Yellowstone National Park.

This model is named for the elusive Lupine Creek Pack, a wolf pack associated with Yellowstone's Northern Range. JMM describes the pack as a quiet but resilient force—qualities expressed through the Lupine's assertive rectangular shape, cool translucent coloring and intricately engraved silver-toned hardware.
