A striking limited-production Jacques Marie Mage Torino from the Epoxy Collection, finished in the Sacramento colorway.

The Torino is one of JMM’s architectural, 1960s-inspired designs, named for the Teatro Regio Torino. For the Epoxy Collection, JMM reworked the Torino with hand-painted epoxy details, exposed decorative wirecores and highly elaborate hinge construction. 

The Sacramento specification combines:

• Deep green cured cellulose acetate
• Dark-gold precious-metal hardware
• Signature arrowhead front pins with epoxy inlay
• Exposed Imperial wirecore with JMM’s distinctive baguette-style pattern
• Custom 7-barrel hairline hinges
• Signature spur-shaped rivet construction

The Sacramento colorway is specifically documented as Sacramento / Dark Gold.

Why We Love Them | Era & Relevance

The standard Torino already has a strong following among JMM collectors, but the Epoxy Collection elevates it considerably.

The exposed gold baguette-pattern wirecore is the star here. Rather than hiding the temple structure inside thick acetate, JMM turns the mechanical construction into jewelry. Combined with the emerald-toned Sacramento acetate, epoxy-filled arrowheads and substantial 7-barrel hinges, this is a particularly elaborate version of the Torino.

The Torino design originally traces back to JMM’s Spring 2018 collection and was later reinterpreted for the Epoxy capsule. 

With only 200 Sacramento examples produced, this is firmly within the collectible side of Jacques Marie Mage rather than simply being another current-production color. Current retailers also show Torino Epoxy configurations as sold out.
