Original light bottle-green Armorlite CR-39 lenses with backside antireflective treatment. The subtle tint complements the translucent Rover acetate while allowing the gold lens-rim inserts to remain a defining feature.

Why We Love Them | Era & Relevance
An important chapter in Jacques Marie Mage’s design history. Originally introduced in 2016, the Pasolini helped establish the house’s distinctive approach to sculptural eyewear, combining a bold, 1960s-inspired Wellington silhouette with polished metal inserts surrounding the lenses.

Released in Fall 2021, this special edition marked five years of the Pasolini design. Its namesake, Italian poet, writer, and filmmaker Pier Paolo Pasolini, informs the frame’s intellectual character and uncompromising presence.

Limited to 150 pieces in Rover, the anniversary edition sold out immediately according to JMM’s archive. The combination of this significant design, coveted green colorway, unworn condition, and preserved anniversary presentation makes this an exceptional collector’s offering.
