Collectors Condition — exceptionally well-preserved and carefully inspected. The frame has been professionally serviced and retains its original components and lenses. Slight wear is present to the lettering on the inside temples; this is not visible while wearing.

Minor surface marks or micro-abrasions may be present on the frame and/or lenses when examined closely under direct light. Please review the detailed photographs for this pair’s condition.

Frame Details
The Kaine in Hickory features polished brown acetate with translucent beige accents, a substantial rectangular silhouette, and sculpted bevels. Handcrafted in Japan from 10mm block acetate, with double-laminated temples, decorative wire cores, signature arrowhead front pins, and sterling silver hardware. This colorway was produced in a limited edition of 350 pieces. 

Lenses
Original factory Sea Green CR-39 lenses, with a solid tint and backside anti-reflective treatment, as specified for the Kaine Hickory edition. The original green lenses complement the warm, translucent frame beautifully.

Why We Love Them | Era & Relevance
Inspired by a young Michael Caine, the Kaine brings cinematic character to a bold rectangular shape. The Hickory acetate allows the elaborate temple detailing to show through, while the Sea Green lenses give the frame a distinctive finish.
