The ALIN is Jacques Marie Mage’s elevated interpretation of the classic 1950s browline spectacle — combining a substantial polished acetate brow with an exceptionally detailed titanium chassis.

The Noir configuration features:

• Silver-tone accents
• Light-gold engraved titanium temples

JMM describes the ALIN as a serious, sophisticated ’50s-inspired combination frame distinguished by its prominent acetate brow, square titanium lens shape and highly engraved temples.

The ALIN has a structured rectangular browline profile but is noticeably lighter and more refined than JMM’s heavier full-acetate silhouettes.

The ALIN shows another side of Jacques Marie Mage.

Instead of relying on the massive sculptural acetate associated with models like the Dealan or Enzo, the ALIN uses mixed-material construction, acetate, finely engineered beta titanium and elaborate engraved metalwork.

Its design looks directly back to the sophisticated browline eyewear of the 1950s, but the materials and execution are unmistakably contemporary JMM. 

The original Noir configuration is now listed as sold out by at least one established JMM retailer, while current ALIN variants retail around the four-figure level.

For a collector, finding an unworn, completely original example with its full presentation kit is considerably more desirable than finding the frame alone.
