Frame Details

The DG6062 is a full-size aviator in a deep, glossy navy with a translucent depth that shows at the edges in the light. A slim silver metal top bar spans the brow to form a double bridge, which gives the frame the look of a classic pilot shape. Wide temples carry a polished silver inlay with DOLCE&GABBANA lettering, and moulded nose pads are built into the front. This is the second colorway of the DG6062 in our collection, alongside 506/13.

Why We Love Them | Era & Relevance

Vintage. The DG6062 dates to the early 2010s, when Dolce & Gabbana brought the aviator into acetate-style construction with bold proportions and a contrasting metal top bar. Dark blue is the most distinctive of the model's colorways: richer than black, still restrained, and paired here with a clean dark grey lens. Unworn examples with the original sticker in place are now difficult to find.
