Frame Details

The D&G 6067 is an oversized teardrop aviator built on a slim metal chassis. A sand-cream enamel finish covers the front, and a burgundy accent runs across the top brow bar. The burgundy is carried back through the temples, which curve at the ear stems and carry a gold-tone D&G plaque at each hinge, with a second logo at the inner tip. The palette pairs a warm neutral with deep wine, and it reads more considered than the standard gold-and-black or gunmetal versions of the same model.

Why We Love Them | Era & Relevance

Vintage. The 6067 comes from the late D&G diffusion line, the younger, music-driven counterpart to the Dolce & Gabbana mainline, which was folded back into the main house in 2012. Aviators were a central shape for D&G in those final seasons, and the 6067 stands out for its oversized teardrop lens and its contrast temples. This sand-and-burgundy colorway is one of the quieter, more unusual versions of the model, and deadstock examples of the diffusion line are becoming harder to find.
