Frame Details

A clean rectangular front cut in translucent lilac-purple acetate, paired with deep navy temples that open to a lilac inner face. At each hinge, a silver-tone plaque spells out "DIOR" vertically, with a single Swarovski crystal set into the "O". It is a small, deliberate detail that carries the house signature without overstating it. This is the second colorway of the CD3153 in our collection.

Why We Love Them | Era & Relevance

Vintage. The CD3153 belongs to Christian Dior's CD 3000-series optical line, made in Italy. In these frames the house leaned on color and jewelry-like hardware instead of oversized logos. The two-tone pairing here, translucent lilac against saturated navy, reads as considered and quietly unusual. The crystal-set "DIOR" plaque gives it the polish of a piece of costume jewelry. Kept unworn, it is a strong example of Dior's optical work from this line.
