Collector’s Condition

An exceptionally preserved vintage Christian Dior 2605. While this frame may have originated as New Old Stock, we cannot verify its complete history and therefore have conservatively graded it as Collector’s Condition. The frame shows virtually no signs of wear, with only minor fading to portions of the temple markings from decades of storage. Hinges remain tight and the frame presents beautifully.

Constructed from lightweight Optyl with sculpted Havana acetate, gold-tone hardware, and Dior’s elegant CD temple detailing. The floating metal temple architecture and oversized silhouette are signature characteristics of Dior’s late-1980s luxury eyewear, combining innovative engineering with unmistakable French design. Optyl became one of Dior’s hallmark materials because of its durability, light weight, and resistance to aging.
