This authentic Vintage Chrome Hearts 2 KANCHU I has been exceptionally well cared for and remains in outstanding collector’s condition.

The original sterling silver hardware has developed a beautiful natural patina that Chrome Hearts collectors actively seek. We have intentionally preserved this finish rather than polishing it, allowing the frame to retain the character, originality, and history that only genuine vintage pieces can possess.

The frame is structurally excellent with no evidence of repairs, abuse, or structural compromise. All engineered features function exactly as originally designed, including the adjustable bridge system and retractable telescoping temples.

The original Chrome Hearts ZEISS lenses remain installed. There is one small storage-related rub mark on the left lens caused by temple contact while folded. The mark sits outside the normal field of vision and does not affect everyday wear.

Lenses show use.  WE ARE WILLING TO REPLACE, AT NO CHARGE, WITH NEW ZEISS LENSES AT TIME OF PURCHASE.  WE NOT REPLACE ORIGINAL LENSES UNTIL INSTRUCTED.

Produced during Chrome Hearts’ formative Japanese eyewear era, the Vintage 2 KANCHU I represents a period when engineering, craftsmanship, and hand-built production took precedence over mass manufacturing.

Unlike conventional aviators, the 2 KANCHU I incorporates an adjustable bridge system that allows the front width to be subtly customized for the wearer, while its retractable telescoping temples provide a personalized fit. Combined with lightweight titanium construction, sterling silver hardware, and original ZEISS lenses, it remains one of the most technically advanced sunglasses Chrome Hearts has ever produced.

Now more than two decades old, the 2 KANCHU I has become one of Chrome Hearts’ most collectible vintage aviators. Examples retaining their original ZEISS lenses, complete functionality, full kit, and untouched sterling silver patina have become increasingly scarce.

Rather than restoring or polishing away its history, this example has been intentionally preserved. The naturally aged sterling silver tells the story of the frame’s journey and is widely regarded by collectors as one of the defining characteristics of desirable vintage Chrome Hearts eyewear.
